If any of you remember in the breeding section I asked a question about labour. The bitch in question was found stray and pregnant had 7 pups we called after bread...:-)

Turns out she had an owner!! He phone yesterday said he had looked every where and only after calling another rescue did he realize we existed.
He had given her up for dead and had a funeral for the kids. He had been looking over 5 weeks and when he came to see her she was so excited she wet herself....

The pups are only 3 weeks old but were having to be removed from her due to severe mastitis. The man came and took her away with all her medications etc so hopefully she will recover. The pups are eating very well and most have been chosen...The man told us what the father was so it will make it even easier to find the right homes for them.

Was nice to see him get her back after so long....

That's good to hear, I hope he was grateful for all the hard work put in? :)
