some people are organised :)...

Don't even mention next year, I haven't got this year in Denmark sorted out!
As it is just round the corner and my dogs have passports, yep, we will be going but not thinking about it yet...
Lets get the Denmark done first :).

Oh no dont get me wrong i dont think i would take my dog to it!!  i have never even shown him yet!!

I was just looking around on the websites for nice holidays next year (yes 2011!!!) as we are gettin gmarried this year in america and staying there for a month so was looking for ideas for someplace closer to home (and cheaper) and seen there is a 100th anniversary show in Paris!
It must be a complete nightmare trying to get your dog across there surely? all the passport stuff seems quite confusing to!

It is easy to get the passport the hard part is making sure the vet fills it in correctly and everything is in the right order.

I have three dogs in my Quarantine Centre , that failed Pets because of the vets.

I'm planning to go, but without any dogs!

Oh most definitely, not often it is so close to home! Plan to bring 2 or 3 dogs -but the entry fees are quite horrendous by UK standards!

No couldn't be easier for Paris -just take the car across the channel tunnel, 35 minutes, and you're in your car and with your dog, then drive to Paris. (According to the RAC that will take about 3 hrs 15 mins.) The pets passport is only checked on your way back. You will be able to get the vet cert for coming back (worming and flea treatment) at the show.

Definitely thinking about it, but if my girl comes into season like she did this last time, pups won't have been away for long, though saying that her mum just pings back, though saying that she does only give me 2 each time LOL!

Thats really helpfull thanks for this info, say you went on holiday with your dog in france or someplace in europe. WOuld you have to visit a vet to get it wormed and flead to come back?

It would be a nightmare if they got refused back into britain i think i would have a heart attack.

yes, you will need a vet to treat for fleas and worms before you return.
