?
I have a 9 week old samoyed bitch, i hope to show as a hobby, when she is 6 months, my problem is yellow wee staining on her rear end, will this improve with age? i ve given her a bath, also tried to rub it off with a damp rag...but still there!!! is there any think i can use to remove this?
any help would be great

Hi, I once heard that washing the stain with a bicarbonate of soda solution would help neutralise the stain. I don't know if it works but it would be worth trying, and wouldn't do the dog any harm.

Have not used this remedy but was told about it by someone with toy dogs. Make a paste mixing Calcium
Carbonate and Peroxide(Antiseptic Strength)both available from the chemist.Put it on the stained area leave it to dry preferable over night then wash off ,this has to be repeated a few times. Has anyone else used this I would be interested to know if it works?

I just use the peroxide but take great care and be sure to wash out of the coat before showing. This is a Poodle remedy given to me by atop breeder.
Also try looking at DOG STUFF on the web search, this company produces a wonderful coat cleaner - costs about £6.00 and I shall certainly try this.

Hi Alice
what strength of peroxide do you use?I have spoken to a friend about this since my previous post on the subject and she says that the antiseptic strength(20)
dosen`t work.
