Met a breeder of these at discover dogs. Really interesting breed although I would n't necessarily own one. The chat we had was really interesting  she was very knowlegable Apparently there are 3 different sizes the bigger being sort of retriver size I suppose. Seemed great temperments, she did mentioned that they can have teeth problems as they are not deep rooted and as in cresties another breed I admire , care with their skin otherwise nothing I remembered. As there are few british breeders it could have been her if I remeber correctly she was from Derbyshire have a web site details somewhere.

now that would freak me out if I saw a bald retriever sized dog running about the park!  I like my dogs to have hair but each to their own.

Donna is really nice, she is the lady you are talking about, she is from my puppy training. She has a standard and intermediates. I love her standard, Diva, she is my favourite. I would have one if they had hairy feet. Thats the only thing I'm not too keen on, something about bald feet that I don't like. I don't know if i could put her website up here, I think its classed as advertising, but if anyone wants it I can pm it them. The standards look a little like Pharoah hounds mixed weim, but a bit thicker set.

Yes the crestie or one of the cresties there was called Armani and being rehomed she was spotty with pink skin I gave her a cuddle. Like cuddling a warm peach and she has now got a lovely new home. Not mine she needed somewhere quiter than my house and oh isn't up for extras atm.

I only thought they came in toy size, I think I much prefer the standards, they look a bit like a sight hound.

me too! I saw a dog on Sunday at Crufts and couldn't work out what the hell it was--but about the size of a lightweight retriever, bald as a coot and not perhaps the best looking dog there on the day. To tell the truth I wondered if it had Cushings :-O
