Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has used this product yet and if so would they recommend it ? It is from the fit and fertile range for those of you who may not have heard of it (Keith Shea). I am debating whether or not to try it for my current in whelp bitch. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. :-)
I saw this aswell and wondered about it.

I used it on our last litter, she had her 1st puppy at 7.30pm and her 4th at 11.30pm, all huge puppies, contractions were smooth, i cant really comment as this was her 1st litter and the 1st time i have used it.
Its a bit late for me to start it now, shes due on saturday...I did wonder about it tho as I said.

Think I might give it a try anyway. Thanks annastasia.

Our girl had 11 pups in 4 and a half hours, we didn't use anything, no problems, all pups survived, I think it's just luck. :-)

And I agree with you! Just luck of the draw!

I do too, wonder how she would have delivered without it? same or slower?

My girl had her 1st litter without any problems, shelled them like peas as the saying goes, so if with her 2nd (and last) litter she does the same and I do use Help-2-Whelp, I won't know if it has had any effect. Then again, if I don't use it and her whelping doesn't goes as smoothly I will be left wondering would it have been different if I had used it !

Yes i wondered would it have been different if i hadnt used it, i will use it again definately.
I swear by Raspberry Leaf tablets by Dorwest Herbs. My last whelping went really well...like shelling peas!

You can never predict on whelping can you?

No you can't :-) I'm not sure I'd use the RLT's or similar again, although this time went much better than last time, it took from 10.15 p.m until 1.40 p.m the next day to deliver 6 puppies, so she didn't shell them out like peas at all
Another interesting thing.............. each litter produced puppies heavier than the normal for the breed............I wonder if the RLT had any influence?!

1st litter RLT, all fine
2nd litter RLT, c section
3rd litter No RLT, all fine.
As the others say don't know whether the RLT made a diff or not.
