Bit of a personal brag and bittersweet moment for me as I lost Karli (Spikes mum/Stan's grandma) a couple of weeks ago.

I can confirm that Ripley did go Best of Breed. I watched the judging with Lea and Lesley (craigles) and I've just left Marianne and John and they're waiting to go into the   group.

I had no major placings but out of 5 of my breeding at the show I managed to get all of them pulled out in the last cut and 2 x 3rd, 2 x 5th and one 6th so not bad as a kennel result. I am happy with that!! and big classes for Bernese.
Lets keep the CD'ers results coming!!

Its not neccessarily the fault of Fosse Data Margot, errors are usually down to the person completing the sheet for the winners board, all it takes is a wrong reading of number or transposing a couple of numbers...

Last year at a champ show, one of Hunters sons (Brogues litter mate) took reserve, but steward completed the form and wrote him up in 1st place, that went on to Fosse Data AND the Kennel Club, 4 weeks later, his breeder had a certificate for his Stud book No.  and it still has never been corrected

Thanks everyone -still very much on cloud 9 here! I have e-mailed Fosse twice now to ask they change the results as it is a bit uncomfortable to tell people you got BOB and then the Fosse site says you didn't! Well I have the rosette and the card to prove it, and hubby got to fulfill his dream of running through the arch into the main ring at Crufts! :) As I had to stay with the other dogs, I was so glad I'd brought a laptop with me as my daughter and I watched the live streaming coverage and was able to see John and Ripley that way. (OH and they flashed Ripley's name up correctly there!)

It was great to share the moment with fellow CDers as well!!!!

They did indeed Marianne and I was cheering in my kitchen(didn't you hear me :-D ) - she looked fabulous and there was a great shot of her watching the judge as he went round just before making the cut. John looked very cool, calm and collected! I'd have been dropping bait, leads and everything all over the place.

Congratulations to you all but most especially Ripley! What a star!

Fosse has got back to me saying their records show it was the dog who took BOB so they won't change it! I am fuming -if it doesn't get changed the results in the dog papers will be wrong as well! I've just scanned the BOB card and e-mailed it to them!
