Topic Dog Boards / Showing / Picking up after Crufts?

Due to doing 2 things at once on the same day, I am having to drive my friends to Crufts with the dog, show him in his morning class, then scoot off home. Hubby will then drive up in the afternoon to collect them. Is there any way he would be able to re-use the drop off pass to pick them up, or is there anywhere he can meet up with them without having to use a car park pass for a 10 minute stop? The friends are from America and haven't got the faintest idea just how large and confusing the NEC is.....

What about meeting in the carpark at the railway?  Is that close enough?

Whilst there is a drop off, I'm not entirely sure you are allowed to pick up.  I had to drop my invalid mother, her friend & 4 dogs off last year & leave her standing outside whilst I drove back to the carpark & ran back!  bless her she managed to get a fair way in through the halls.

But I remember having to give up my pass on the way out though.  You never know though, it's worth a smile & ask!

No, although you can drop off, you can't pick up, try smiling at the guys on the barriers, they might let you through

Not sure what carpark at the railway you mean abbeypap.... they will have the crate and trolley etc with them so will have trouble getting a long way. I was hoping he could stop just outside an agreed car park for them to just load up. Fingers crossed!
