Topic Dog Boards / Health / Yellow/green discharge! what is it?
- By pinky [gb] Date 05.12.02 13:11 UTC
I have a 11 week old bullmastiff puppy/male and i have noticed a slight discharge coming from his dinkle!!
He had a check up last week and everything was a ok!!
He has no problems going to the wee and doesn't seem to be doing it any more or less than normal, he still has his appetite and there is NO fowl smell!!!He is bounding around as usual!
Is this discharge normal? or do I have to run down the vets with him?
Please help with any advise
thank you
pinky

I've had my lad to the vets for the same but it's normal unless it's excessive :)

Hi Pinky, all my boys have had it as pups, the vet has said unless its excessive its nothing to worry about, mine don't seem to get it anymore, unless they just clean themselves better:D Decoy was really quite greeny as a pup and the vet kept on eye on it from time to time in case there were any nasties lurking there! ***Dinkle** that killed me :D :D :D Julie:)

Willis is the same. When I took him to the vets for his jabs I sat him next to me, and, out of the corner of my eye, I saw there was a large droplet hanging off...about to land on the seat!! Urgh. I wasn't sure what to do, didn't want to have to wipe it off with my sleeve!!

Luckily, its the kind of consitancy that takes a while to drop. Laffin.
