I took Pixie to her first show on Saturday and had a great day. She is just six months so was really just practising.
Pixie won 1st Papillon Puppy
Tuppence won 1st Papillon Junior
They then had to compete for best Papillon puppy which Pixie won!!! Hooray!!!!
She then went on to take Puppy Group 2- I was the happiest exhibitor ever

Gutted I have entered her NFC at club show next Sunday as I didn't want to rush her out

Still dancing happy circles here!!!

Hi Scotgal Pixie was actually really calm just like being in the kitchen- She kept wagging her tail and had a ball.

Sorry for delayed reply - Am just back from Scotland and had no laptop.

Has your show been?

What a good puppy!

No the show is on the 14th april. I really dont have high hopes at all! Hes VERY good at the trot up and down and stand, but as soon as hes on the table he goes mad if the judge touches him, he turns into a holla hoop wreck! He so funny he just wants to lick and jump up and down and ermmm be a puppy! I have been trying everything with him, but he just goes daft if anyone touches him. Im sure he will calm down...(when hes 10!!) lol
I never went to ringcraft last week, hes teething real bad and feels the need to bite anything he can (including hands) so i thought it would be best to keep him off last week!

Better that way than the other. Tuppence (my other bitch) used to fold like a folding chair when judges came and only now at a year old is she reasonable steady and probably take another six months to get it right.

A pup with character is great and judges should like that. With practice he will settle a bit.

Good luck with show x
