My favourite book of all time is Dog Breeding For Professionals. Trouble is, last time I recommended it, the person could only find it in the states.
It came out in the 70's when I bred my first litter. I found it very helful indeed. I know that feeding has changed a lot over the years, but giving birth doesn't change much! It has a section on delivering malpresentations, and has been tremendously helpful over the years.
I remember, at the time, thinking it was expensive, but it was probably peanuts in comparison to todays prices. I actually picked it up at The Three Counties annual show, at one of the specialist book stalls.
I have TBOTB like most on here, and other good whelping books, but the old one is still my favourite.
