How long does it normally take for the litter reg to come back from KC i posted it off rather than do it online.

Thanks, Lois

About 10 or 12 days for mine in the past. I did my last litter online and got them in 5 days.

My last online registration took 8 days.  I registered my current litter by post.  Sent it off on Monday Lois - so will let you know when I receive the paperwork.

- By SharonM Date 13.02.10 00:00 UTC
I've recently registered my litter online, last Friday, had confirmation on Tuesday acceptance of names, just waiting on documents now, hopefully they'll be here either tomorrow or early next week.
- By annastasia [gb] Date 13.02.10 10:38 UTC
About 12 days by ost, i usually do online registrations.
- By SharonM Date 13.02.10 11:14 UTC
My documents arrived this morning, so not bad really, as I registered them late last Friday evening, so they weren't processed until Monday and arrived today, so less than a week.

Thats good going.

I need to do mine soon, just waiting for restrictions to be lifted off our female (i put them on all the pups, even ones im keeping lol x) just in case.
Need to think of names beginning with M, 2 boys and 1 girl, but calling her Billi or Charli pet name.

When I used to post mine out, anything from a week to 10 days, online approx 3 days. :-)
- By JeanSW Date 18.02.10 23:00 UTC
Well, it's 10 days now since I sent mine by post.  Still not arrived.
- By Lokis mum [gb] Date 19.02.10 08:17 UTC
Phone to check that they have got them!
- By perrodeagua [gb] Date 19.02.10 11:23 UTC
First class mail is rubbish these days, can take up to 3 days to get there, so when you think that's 6 days in postage and then it's got to get to the office etc, so hopefully you should have them soon.   It took 10 days for my last litter to come and that was on-line so maybe it's taking a bit longer at the moment?
- By SharonM Date 19.02.10 13:48 UTC
Have you got an online account where you can check?  Also check your bank, see if the money has been taken, they are usually pretty quick taking that.

I registered mine online 9 days ago, nothing in the post so I went online and looked at my registered dogs, they are there, I got 7 of the first choice names but the one I so wanted for the boy we're keeping, didn't get it.
- By LoisLane Date 20.02.10 11:11 UTC
The money was taken from my account two weeks ago! A friend has  been waiting on her papers as well, she rang and they said they are working hard to clear a huge back log of litters!
- By LoisLane Date 20.02.10 11:14 UTC
My pups have nearly all gone to new homes and i really wanted them ready before they left, i should of posted off sooner really but we had real trouble with the names as we had tons to pick from. My husband only picked the name for one of the puppies in the end.
- By JeanSW Date 20.02.10 11:19 UTC
It is now a fortnight on Monday since I posted mine first class.  Pups are nearly 7 weeks now, so hope that they come soon.

Not in todays post, so if they don't arrive on Monday, I shall be on the phone too.
- By WestCoast Date 20.02.10 11:21 UTC
Crufts always puts pressure on.  They utilise people from other departments - it's all hands on deck!  So for any registrations in the first part of the year it's always worth allowing more time. :)
- By Brainless [gb] Date 20.02.10 11:22 UTC
Having experienced a wait of 6 1/2 weeks some years ago, even with on-line registration I always get mine registered as soon as I know all pups are going to survive, so by two weeks at the latest.

I have names all picked out with spares before the litter are born.
- By annastasia [gb] Date 20.02.10 11:23 UTC
Wonder wht they have a huge backlog? i need to do mine as my puppies are just over 3 weeks old, just waiting for them to lift endorsements on my girls paperwork,
- By LoisLane Date 20.02.10 12:55 UTC
Xmas they said, when she rang they were still working through litters sent in at end of Jan?! If anybody else rings please let us know.

That's strange I registered mine on 5th February, they arrived on 15th February, so really only a week.
- By Brainless [gb] Date 20.02.10 15:05 UTC
On-line is so much faster as you complete everything for them.
- By JeanSW Date 23.02.10 22:24 UTC
Just an update, in case anyone else has waited ages.

As it's now over a fortnight since I posted my Litter Registration papers - first class - I phoned today.  To be fair, as I was calling from work, I (stupidly) didn't have my bitches number, or the stud dog number on me.

The girl was great, my bitches name was sufficient.  My papers will be in the post tomorrow.  I still couldn't wait to know, just asked if the name has been accepted for the pup that I'm keeping.  YAY!  I got the name I wanted for my show baby.  Couldn't wait to tell her.  Yeah I know, sad loon!
- By LucyDogs [gb] Date 24.02.10 09:18 UTC
Great news Jean - and no you're not sad - I sit and read out my dogs' critiques to them! :-p
- By Henri3402 [gb] Date 24.02.10 09:22 UTC

> I sit and read out my dogs' critiques to them! :-p

Oh gosh, it's not just me then, I too read out our dogs' crits to them!
- By LucyDogs [gb] Date 24.02.10 09:26 UTC
Glad it's not just me Henri - I figure they won the award, so they should hear what was said about them! :-D
- By annastasia [gb] Date 24.02.10 10:58 UTC
Just done my litter on-line, will let you know when papers arrive.
- By Sawheaties [gb] Date 24.02.10 11:02 UTC
You're all mad (some people would say) Me, I read it to them too!! Isn't it great to know we are not as odd as some people think!
- By LoisLane Date 24.02.10 15:37 UTC
Hi JeanSW, Did they give you a reason for delay? Pleased you got what you wanted, will update when i know more.

Lois
- By JeanSW Date 24.02.10 21:49 UTC

> You're all mad

But isn't it a consolation to know that there are a lot of us in the same club?  :-)
- By JeanSW Date 24.02.10 21:51 UTC
No reason for the delay given.  As they said out in post tomorrow - that means that they were posted today (hopefully.)

Will let you know exactly how many days once they arrive.  My online reg arrived in 8 days!
- By JeanSW Date 24.02.10 21:53 UTC
Whoops!  Sorry Louis, I tell a lie.  When you do it online, they get the money immediately.

She did mention that they don't start to process at all until the cheque has cleared.  Apologies, I forgot that bit!
- By JeanSW Date 26.02.10 23:47 UTC
Well Louis, they still haven't arrived.  But earlier in the week when I checked the KC site, they weren't listed.  But today, when I check Litter Registrations, the 3 pups are registered to me, so guess I sit tight and await them in week 3?
- By annastasia [gb] Date 27.02.10 13:03 UTC
Mine are listed now, woo hoo i got the names i wanted, will let you know when they arrive, only did them on the 24th.
- By LoisLane Date 27.02.10 13:32 UTC
Mine are back, took over 3 weeks, that was doing it by post!
- By annastasia [gb] Date 05.03.10 12:44 UTC
Mine came on wednesday, exactly 1 week after filling forms in online, not bad going eh?
- By LoisLane Date 05.03.10 14:44 UTC
Very speedy indeed. :-o
- By LoisLane Date 05.03.10 14:45 UTC
Any news Jean?
- By JeanSW Date 05.03.10 15:21 UTC
Yes Lois, they took just over 3 weeks!
