I had Tiva and T-Bone at the vet on saturday.

T-Bone has a bladder infection and is on BNPH for her eye's- her eye's started getting red and she was squinting, but this does not seem to be clearing up. Nothing has changed in the house hold- any idea's? She is 9yrs old...

Tiva I brought her in cause her anal gland keeps getting plugged and absesses- yes I clean them but this one feels like a hard lil ball so this is the second time I have brought her in and on meds. I asked about surgery was told $900 and up and that its very hard on them and alot of work on me- Not a problem for me- but she said if she was younger she would say go for it, but her coming 12yrs in June she doesn't recomend it cause it is hard on them, she said hard as a puppy but even harder at her age... She is also on BNPH has been for awhile for her eye- which still bulges a lil turning blue but she can still see out of it- so ruled out glucauma and figure maybe a tumor... My problem with her is that she is my baby- still plays, eats, wouldn't even no she is turning 12yrs old, how do I no when its to much on her with her anal gland? I really can't afford every 2-4 weeks $150 for a vet exam and meds all the time. I clean them the best and hers are so thick and pasty... Would be much easier if she was having accidents and was going senile but she is not.... I don't want her suffering either.... How would I no that her anal gland is causing her alot of pain? Since being on meds she has not been rubbing her bottom on the carpet and Iam gonna try empty them again tomorrow. it was bleeding a bit on the inside reason why she on meds...   Guess Iam asking what you would do if she was your dog? Just not an easy descision- no not caughing out on her yet- I'll keep her happy and comfy until she not having quility of life anymore but just don't want her in any pain....
