Many thanks

Sorry no ours tend to whelp a few days early, is she overdue from 1st or second mating?
- By libby1506 [gb] Date 21.02.10 12:42 UTC
She is overdue from 1st mating (67 days ) 2nd mating (65 days) 3rd mating (63 days)

If she is fine in herself, and there is no smelly discharge, then I would be tempted to leave it for another night. She may have taken on the 3rd mating, not the 1st, so she wouldn't then be late. Has she been seen by a vet? It might be worth your while giving them a call, but they will probably tell you the same. Or they might want to see her.

Have you been taking her temperature?
- By libby1506 [gb] Date 21.02.10 16:19 UTC
Many thanks for your replies. Yes I have been taking her temp, it is normal.  I have been to see the vet this afternoon and he said she is fine fit and healthy and not dilated. He has suggested we see how she goes overnight.

Just to let you know my bitch had a C section today and has had a boy, I am so proud of her. She is very sleepy at the mo and he is quite a lively one!!!!

Glad that everything has turned out ok.  You often find that a bitch with a singleton, doesn't produce enough oxytocin to get her going.  I'm pleased that you can stop worrying.  :-)

Congratulations.
