would there be any change to the nipples or any other physical change at day 28? she was sick on day 24 and 25 frothy sick both at dinner time. thanks

Hi Alib...I'm watching your threads with interest, as my girl was mated 2 days after yours. (I'm comparing notes, although we have different breeds) I don't think my girl is having pups, but her teats are now softer than prior to mating. Also she has been very choosy with her food, sometimes not eating at all! We've also had 2 lots of frothy bile/sickness. I went through the same thing last year with her litter sister, but it turned out to be a Phantom Pregnancy, so I guess it's all down to hormones. Good luck...I'll keep watching & comparing :)

little green - thanks the worst is not knowing are you taking your girl to be scanned? im going back for a rescan on friday so will know one way or the other, good luck  keep us informed if you are having pups xx

Well...I'm undecided about having her scanned. The reason being...she had a litter in January 2008 & everything was fine, Mum was fine, pups were doing great, then I thought I'd take her to the vets for a routine post whelp check up. They said she was in great shape & no problems. (They took bloods) 4 days after visit to the vet, she was really poorly, so back we went again, only to be told she had an infection! I was raging, as the only place she could have picked up an infection was from the vets! I don't want to risk it :( Lets face it, the vet surgery is full of sick animals, not the ideal place to be taking a pregnant girl.

You are absolutely correct, our guy does the scan at home so no risk then,
