This morning I found a large lump on my bitch between her teats, immediately fearing the worst I contacted a friend who has experience of mammary tumours. My girl is post season and due to other behaviour I suspected (when I thought about it logically!) a phantom with mastitis as her teats were engorged and some brownish substance followed by milk came out after gentle pressure.

Went to vet who confirmed my suspicion, so she is on antibiotics. I decided not to let him give anything to dry milk up as she has other medical problems, thankfully the vet agreed to my extra walking, etc etc.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a homeopathic treatment or something from Dorwest as I want to be as natural in my approach as possible.

She is looking a lot more comfy now, I have been massaging the teats as the vet suggested.
