Hello,

please can people give me the low down on camping on site at dogshows? Im thinking of hopefully doing a bit of showing later in the year (novice) and see you can camp at some of the shows. Also is there a show in scotland where they have a disco on the saturday night?
thanks

Don't know about Scotland but Blackpool does.  Think some of them are a bit of a rip off though, it's alright for people making a week holiday of it but for those wanting to stay a night or two it's really expensive.

Do they make any considerations between people with caravans/RVs, and those with a small tent? (with or without a car?).

We camp near the shows rather than on the actual showground. We found it much cheaper and you have better facilities than on the showground. You also have more privacy than the showground as you're not as pushed together.

Border Union has a disco/ceilidh on the Saturday evening or they used to have a presume they still do.  Caravanning / camping at Border Union is also ok as they have decent toilet / shower units there.
