just had a phonecall from the joint owner. the vet is writing a letter to the insurance company to ask permission for euth we are insured with petplan, so i'd imagine that we should get an answer pretty quick. we've already asked them over the phone and they said they dont see any problem with it, but need the vets letter for clarification. i assume this is the way everyone does things, ive never had to do this, so not sure.

but thats about the gist of it. my big boy is soon to be put to sleep.

Sorry to hear about your outstanding boy and this sad outcome.

My friends horse died in his field not long ago and the insurance insisted on a autopsy to find the cause of death or no pay out, so at least you wouldn't have to go through that upset as well as everything else.
