Our bitch was mated on the 1st of December, which would make her about due now. Altougth she has definatly got bigger (and we haven't been feeding her extra, up until the last couple of days) She has no milk. But is nest building, uncomfortable, sleeping etc. So i took her to the vet today, he had a feel and said that he doesn't think there is any in there!! I'm not 100% sure i believe him.
Did the dogs tie when they mated?.
Can you see any movement in her tummy that looks like pups moving and kicking around in there?
Does she have any discharge, clear or otherwise?
Is she panting at all?
Does it look like shes possibly in labour, panting, digging, pushing?
have you checked her to see if there is any sign of a pup?

Yes they tied for about an hour. I think i can see movement, but may just be me being hopefull! No pushing yet, finding it hard to get comfortable. . Can't see any discharge etc, but she if licking her srelf alot. Her boobies are bigger, but no milk to see of! And she's definatly bigger.

hi, i think you should have had a scan weeks ago so that you are more prepared than this, if my girl is in whelp it will take me weeks to get everything ready, whelping boxes and whelping kits etc i wouldnt leave her more than 3 or 4 days over i would go back to the vets and scan her asap.
good luck
in my opinion i think a scan would be a good idea or even the relaxin blood test as least then you would know either way and dont have to worry if she is over etc putting the dogs or pups if any at risk i always scan just to determine preganancy not numbers etc xx

You really need to get her scanned..just to be safe.
I think every1 on this forum gets their dogs scanned or has the blood test done.
If you put your hand on her side can you feel any pups kicking.
You need to contact your vet in the morning and get her seen.
Im getting my bitch scanned in about 10 days, just so i know whether or not she is pregnant.
Will you keep in touch and let us know how you and your girl get on....there are loads of people on here who can help.
