Was wondering if anyone has stayed here and could tell me a bit about it.  e.g cleanliness , friendliness , facilities on offer etc

Never stayed there, but it looks a bit wierd from the outside, sort of gothic wannabe. I know they have lots of things like sci fi meet ups there.

My mother in law stayed there with the grandchildren absolutely loved it, but it was quite a few years ago, dont know what its like now, sorry

What a blast from the past!!!  When I was a kid (about 32 years ago - eeek!!!!) my parents and their friends and families used to go there every new year.  It was great fun.  All my friends were there with their folks and there was a ball on NYE and fancy dress competition another night.  We must've gone there every new year for about ten years.  What happy memories!

Sorry to digress and I can't even be of any assistance, as it's been quite some time since I was there, but would be interested to hear what it's like now.
