Thinking of taking the kiddies to either Northern Majorca or Northern Menorca this Summer .( personally i'd rather go to Anglesea )
Can anyone recommend resorts in either of these places ? And any recommendations of  accomodation with air conditioning would be great .

I took my 7 and 9 year old daughters to Binnibecca in Menorca and stayed in a private villa with James Villas. It wasn't too expensive and we had a fantastic time. The villa had it's own pool and was lovely. It's a quiet resort but we only needed the sun and water and we were happy. It's a lovely place for families but if you like nightlife don't go. I've also been to Majorca a couple of times and although I've had nice holidays there, I much prefer Menorca. It's quieter and more scenic than Majorca. Enjoy wherever you go

My MIL has a villa in Son Parc, Menorca (but it doesn't have air con, sadly- could do with it!). I love Menorca, nice and quiet, with gorgeous beaches and lovely little towns and villages. Son Parc itself has a nice beach and a small development of bars, shops and restaurants, and we always go out to eat in Fornells, just up the coast. We've not been for 4 years as we prefer to holiday in Wales or the Lake District and take the dogs with us :-) - I found us some really cheap flights the other day but he said he didn't want to leave the dogs!

We went to Son Parc, Menorca, quite a few years ago when my boys were younger. It was lovely, not a very big village but with enough shops and restaruants to cover most needs. Beech was lovely.

Another Menorca fan here we went with all of ours as kids some years ago Santo Thomas? Again about two years ago as two old farts really lovely I think better than Majorca.

Thanks for your replies . We stayed in Cala Galdana 11 years ago and it was lovely , but perhaps a bit small and quiet .
