Hi all I'm due to travel to Cornwall for a show in April and just wondered what would be my best way to travel? I was thinking of Flying via dublin but a friend of mine said she would come with me from Liverpool for the weekend. Not sure how long it would be to drive from Liverpool to Wadesbridge? Any thoughts?

Do you not have a sat nav Clare?  we rely on it to travel everywhere. good luck at the show.

Liverpool to Wadebridge would be a good 6 or 7 hours driving in good conditions with no hold-ups - probably more. It's about 190 miles Liverpool to Exeter, then Exeter to Wadebridge is about 60 miles, not all fast roads, so can take a lot longer than you expect. It takes us 5 hours from near Birmingham, allowing for one brief toilet break on the way.

Bloody hell that is a long drive!! I think i might fly over instead but unfortunatly Jet2 don't start their Belfast to Newquay service until the end of May which is a bummer! I have checked flights with Air southwest they fly from Dublin to Newquay so i might try this...thanks guys!

newquay is cornwalls only airport and about 30 mins drive from Wadebridge. Alternative would be to fly to plymouth, but theres not much public transport plymouth to wadebridge, least not at the times youd want to travel. Assuming your judging there......someone on the comittee would be able to bring you from plymouth im sure.

can do liverpool to st ives in 5 hrs so I recon wadebridge in say 4 and half or so. Is it a breed show Clare??
