my little girl is black and tan  with no white the stud is black and tan with a small white bib does any one know how the colour is ditributed thanks

Obviously you can't mention breed, but I am assuming this is a breed where a white bib is undesirable to some extent -and there is no white elsewhere on the body? Or? If one parent has a small amount of white you can get some pups with a bit of white on, some without any, and some with more. In my main breed white is allowed on the chest plus hindtoes and I started with a bitch that had a fairly large patch of white. By selecting the pups with the least amount of white and mating to studs without any white at all I eventually got a litter where 9 pups had no white at all and just one had white on chest.
