I have not put an advert in to the yearbok before and ours has to be a certain size. Can anyone help me as to which program to use.

I dont know much about these things but I have just put my first advert in our yearbook and I just sent the text and photos and roughly how I wanted it laid out and the printer will sort out the sizes.  Phone and check first before you worry about it :)

I just use Word, go into page set up to choose your page size and margins and away you go.

get your photographer to size it up correctly, for bleed etc.

I know our yearbook people are willing to help with technophobes. You should have options even from sending in a photo and text as to how you want the layout, like bleed or 2 photos etc on the page.
That is what i did when i put one of my dogs into a yearbook..
That is a reminder to do it again now as well, not cheap though.

Hi this was my first year in my breed, so didnt know what to do.  contacted the person at the club running the yearbook entries and she sent me hers so i could copy the format and layout, obviously of my own style but i used it as an example. Really helpful lady, so perhaps if you contacted your co-ordinator they will hekp you.
