I went to The Good Show yesterday and saw a steam mop demonstration - it looked good (but looks can be very deceptive ;) )  Does anyone have one and what do they think of them?  Also I have Karndean in the conservatory, does anyone use one on Karndean? Thanks.

Jax :)

I use one with laminate flooring, it's brilliant, so much better than mopping, as it doesn't leave the floor wet for ages.  To start with I bought one for about £30 from a home shopping catalogue, that one was rubbish, then saw one being demonstrated at an agricultural show, £60 - bought that, and it has been the best!

No one has replied to the question about using a steam mop on Karndean so I will ask again as I would be interested to know. I have just had a karndean floor laid &  I use my steam cleaner everywhere else but don't want to ruin my new floor. I use a Vax Steamer which is ok - good on hard floors & has attachments to clean other areas -  but I might go for something better when I replace it.

Could you ask the manufacturer?  technical@karndean.co.uk

Thanks. I was going to try that before posting on here but couldn't find an email address for them. Will let you know what they say in case anyone else wants to know.
