This is my 7 months old puppy's 1st season. She seems to be off her food. Is it normal for this to happen with a season

I do think that they can get a bit low when in season, so I see no reason for it not to affect their appetite.

Might sound daft!!   But I've often wondered if they can get tummy ache just like us?

No doesnt sound daft but you could be right. I remember i used to go off my food. OHHHHHHH that will explain me being heavier than i was then eh.

one of mine used to go off food during seasons ans shortly after, so much so that I was lucky if she ate 3 days out of 7.

I think the first season they always have that look about them, feeling sorry for themself and just generally not
really knowing whats going on.  One of my girls goes off her food every time.  She eats great leading up to the season and then by 2nd or 3rd week her eating gets worse and worse.  I have found she is more likey to eat raw at this time and goes as far as picking kibble out of wet food and spitting it out!!!  She's always worse in the mornings too and sometimes wont eat a thing until the afternoon.
