I have a 7 month old GSP, which I have started showing, he has had his second show, first Open show a couple of weeks ago, and got Best Puppy in his Breed, what a proud Mummy I was that day!!!!

I have lined up more open shows over the next couple of months, but would also like to enter some Championship shows to see how he does.

Does he need to win certain shows to be able to enter Champ shows??

All info will be greatfully received.

Apart from Crufts where you have to qualify, you simply enter.

Entries close much sooner for champ shows, the Manchester one closed in December.

If your puppy is docked he/she can only enter shows which do not charge the public to enter so check the schedules. 

The two breed clubs also have shows :
GSPA have a Championship show in April web site :: http://www.gspa.co.uk/
the GSPC have a Breed Open show in March and a Ch Show in June web site :: http://www.gsp.org.uk/

If you contact the secretaries from web site links info they will send you schedules - don't think show info is on the websites yet .
