I have a dog who recently had a litter of 11 pups. The pups began to die one by one, until we had lost four in total. In desperation I found this site and immediately went and bought some beef liver. On Tuesday morning I found one of the pups very weak and lifeless, I started giving the pup 4 drops of the liver juice every 2 hours and also feeding milk via a dropper every 30 minutes. I held the pup on my lap all day and rubbed her very firmly so that she could not got to sleep. I did not put her down all day, she peed on me and pooed on me and was sick on me. I told her all this was fine but I wasn't going to let her die on me. We continued to give all seven surviving pups the liver juice and started feeding them with a bottle to top up their mothers milk. That was two weeks ago and now ALL SEVEN pups are thriving and the little girl who was so ill has become a real spoit little thing who barks everytime I enter the room until I pick her up for a cuddle.
I wanted to thank everybody on this link for taking the time and the trouble to put up advise and help for people like me. I was at my wits end not knowing what to do and blaming myself thinking I was not looking after them properly. I truely thank every one of you for you time and consideration
I have called the little girl Ruby and I am going to keep her along with her mum.
Thank you again.
Glad to hear your good news. :) Can you remove the name of the breed as it's not allowed on here to announce the birth of pups by breed. :)

Awww, what a lovely post :-)
Glad you are keeping Ruby, she will always be extra special to you :)
Thank you all for your kind thoughts. You will be please to hear that all 7 pups had their first taste of solid food last night. There was more all over their bodies, me and my family than they got in their mouths, but it was so funny to watch them.
Really want to keep them all, hoping for a lottery win so I can buy a large house and keep dogs.
Thank you all again.
