Hi guest, I dont think there are many people here who would advocate buying dogs as a suprise present, really its not a good idea.
Have you not contacted the breeder of your existing dogs?

Guest...this sounds like a really BAD idea & you must talk it through with him first. no responsible breeder would sell you a pup without meeting all members of the household anyway. What if he has also decided to surprise you & booked a 3 week holiday...what happens to the pup...he may be thinking along the same lines as you & surprise YOU with a puppy...then you have two!
