- By LoisLane Date 26.12.09 22:02 UTC
Does anybody know where to find Royal Canin on offer? Or even BOGOF?
Thanks,
Lois

If you go direct to Pet Supermarket they have other offers on, not the BOGOF ones though.

I just googled Royal Canin offers and that all popped up.

Still looking everywhere for royal canin offers? Bogof or three for two
- By LouiseDDB [gb] Date 31.12.09 20:35 UTC
unfortunately i havent ever found bogof for RC 28 as its soo pricey but i have founded the cheapest on the net £35 for 15kg bag of giant breed adult, the purple one. Almost a tenner off some places.

I know what you mean, about 6 weeks ago PAH doing all royal canin bogof i got lots of the 3kg bags as i have a small breed, but my bitch has a litter of 3 week old pups and has been eating non stop, am fast running out and was hoping to get a saving from somewhere!

Milbury hill btw sorry lol didn't mention the site. Can u not fib and register as a breeder with rc and get some pups when they are ready to leave. You may not have to fib if you have their requirements 5 dogs 2 breeding bitches or something similar?????

I have loads of RC  that we have won, so obviously have/will use it up, but never found the vouchers much use as even with the money off the food worked out more expensive than the Arden Grange.
- By LoisLane Date 01.01.10 11:55 UTC
I was hoping to get puppy packs from royal canin for the litter, however i have since found out that i do not have the dogs needed nor do buy my food from royal canin, i go where ever is cheap at the time i am running low. Unfair :-(

Royal Canin have stopped sending out the trial bags of food for new puppy owners, all you get now is a voucher to give them!! I think it's very dissapointing and rang them to say so, they really weren't interested....they reckon the new owners will be just as happy with a voucher , I dissagree so went out and bought a small bag for each puppy leaving and just gave the voucher as an extra....maybe RC are feeling the pinch and making cut backs.
- By Brainless [gb] Date 02.01.10 09:29 UTC
More likely they are not getting enough take up from new owners due to the food being so expensive.

There is also the cost of shipping the puppy packs, it doesn't make economic sense for a lot of companies to give out the food.

A voucher costs them nothing if the new owner decides to use something else.

What amount is the voucher for? A bag or just a money off voucher?

As i have only ever seen the puppy food in 3kg bags or larger.

Royal canin from PAH is just under £15 for 3kg.

Do you think i would get the vouchers? As i am not a member with them.
- By Brainless [gb] Date 03.01.10 18:12 UTC
The vouchers I have are money off that I have won as prizes at shows.

I think £17 for a 4kg bag of food very pricey.
- By LoisLane Date 04.01.10 19:56 UTC
I have now seen that they do a 1kg bag! Ooops :-)

...............Pets at Home are doing Royal Canin at half price until February 25th or whilst stocks last. Not sure if it includes the breed specific ones but I brought a 4kg Junior 32 for £9.00 instead of the usual £18 which is really too expensive. Am gonna stock up a bit as my pup loves it!

Ive just went and bough 6 bags off puppy mini for £42 would have usually have cost £84!

BARGAIN!!!

Ive just ran out of the food i stocked up last year when it was BOGOF.

My pug puppy adores RC, im not planning on changing the food i feed him, his coat is shiney hes growing like a bean pole and he about does back flips when he knows its meal times!

his breeder said she tried the 'pug' royal canin but didnt feel they kept the weight on with it, so once he hits 10 months i will just feed the mini and see how he goes.

The only thing i thought was good about the 'pug' food was that it was shaped better for the shape of there heads. But he doesnt have any problem picking up the food! Blink and you miss it hahah.

The RC breeder service is probably the cheapest place to buy it.   My sister bougth Pug & CKCS breed specific food for her 2 dogs when I placed an order for catfood and it is far cheaper than it would be in the shops.   You almost get double the amount of cat kibble for a little bit more than PAH prices through the breeder service.  The downside is you have to order a minimum of 20kg to qualify for free carriage and you cannot get kitten/puppy packs sent out unless you have ordered bitch/puppy or queen/kitten food in the previous 6 months.

You get a voucher to give to the puppy/kitten owners which gives them a free bag of 2/3kg bag of food.

scotgal as you are in Dundee when my sister next wants Pug food for her Pug I will let you know or PM me a contact email/mobile number.   Since Betsy (Pug) has been on RC Pug there's a big difference in her coat, it feels so much nicer.

I.ve been and stocked up too £9 a bag ( bought 10). My friend who has a 9 month old great dane just bought 10 bags of giant breed junior for £4 per bag its £42 for the 15 kilo bag. Now she got 40 kilo for less she's well pleased. She has emptied the shelf but they are gettting a delivery tomorrow so she will be going for some more and WHY NOT  what a saving
