Hi guys

We were suposed to have 16 comming for xmas day dinner, however the snow was that bad they couldnt get through to our house so now I have a 20lb turkey all cooked.  Just wondered if anyone had any good ideas to use it up rather than just slicing and putting it in the freezer or turkey curry lol

well i expect there be a few people making a curry from left overs, as will i but just think of things you would do with chicken.
i make two great dishes, chicken and leak bake and chicken huntington( as i call it).
chicken and leak bake is:- fry off lots of sliced leaks and bacon and add left over chicken or turkey then make a white sauce, add abit of cheese if you want a richer taste and a spoon of mustard then mix this all together and put in a over dish and grate cheese on the top and cook for 20 mins or so. you can freeze this instead of putting it in the oven.
chicken Huntington:- fry bacon, chopped onion and slice mushrooms, add cut up chicken and put to one side. cook pasta of your choice ie shells and make a cheese or white source.mix everything together and either freeze or put in oven dish, grate cheese on top and bake .
if you don't want to make a white source then use condensed chicken soup instead.
Apart from those you could always make chicken/turkey pie filling and freeze until another day.
