I've had my 11 week old Lab pup since Saturday and all has been great.

She went for her first vaccinations yesterday.

I have been taking her outside frequently and have had great success up until today.  She is urinating SO frequently today, and has been drinking a lot.  She has had 7 wees in the last half hour and has gone so many times today I've lost count.

Could the vaccination have caused this?  I have also been gradually changing her food over to JWB puppy from the food that her breeder supplied as I can't source it locally and have used JWB in the past with pups.

Slightly concerned tonight that there is something wrong with her.

My friend had this with a pup who was house trained then started peeing in the house, I think it was a kidney infection which she had antibiotics for.

I would take your pup to the vet along with a urine sample.

Hi HollySpringer,
What you describe, a pup straining to pee seven times in half an hour, is a sign of Urinary Tract Infection.
It's not uncommon in bitch puppies. It has to be treated, though. She needs a trip to the vet in the morning. A course of antibiotics will quickly help. If not treated, it can spread upwards, through bladder to kidneys in the end. By then you have a very sick pup. So not something to ignore, hoping it will go away. Good luck!

Thanks

We've been to the vet this morning and got ourselves some antibiotics - so hopefully she'll be a bit better soon!

I did wonder about an infection, and was going to ring vet this morning anyway even if only for a chat about it.
