Right very slow off the mark this year with present shopping and have decided to send a good friend in America a care package..

I know she loves our chocolate, so sending her some of that.. Any other ideas which you may think are a good idea to send over. Was thinking tea bags, as they don't have good ones over there, or not readily available.

Tablet's a great suggestion :-) You can't get it in the states and I couldn't live without it :-)

edited to say, oh sorry didn't realise there were some poor people who were unaware of the pleasures of tablet :-)

Me too, though i'm sure my grandparents would of not been too happy to hear that i've never heard of it - ancestors are Scottish on one side.. oooppss..

It's similar to fudge, but should be crumbly - not chewy. Lees make tablet that is available in most supermarkets but it's not very good. Asda up here sell Mrs Tillys tablet which is excellent, I'm not sure if it's available down south though?

Kendal mint cake as well!!! lovely on a cold walk. Our mates when we visit Florida always ask for Jacobs Cream Crackets and wine gums. We take about a case full and bring back new clothes and shoes in size 13 for my sons.

Get the 'Thorntons butter tablet,' it's to die for if like me you have a sweet tooth.

Karen :)
