Does anyone have contact details where I can get the half check chains for the dogs collars.

I restitch my collars regularly and the leather is in good condition but the chrome has worn off the chains and they are going rusty.  I just want the chains.

I have googled and found just what I needed, but can't seem to find UK listings even though I put UK pages on the search.

no idea but there are lots of people on ebay who make their own leather half checks.  A pm to one of them might help you out or they might sell you just the chain.  Or a quick trawl in poundland for nylon half checks that you could cut the nylon off. 

I always think that those making collars are going to want you to get new from them rather than let you buy their collar making supplies, LOL

Might be worth getting the chains off some cheap collars, but will the chain be good quality?
