I have a litter of week old pups, some of them sometimes suck so hard that the milk is gushing out and running out of their mouths and noses, what should I be doing to help them ? Mum will lick them if I show her the pup, but she doesn't always.

have you checked or cleft palates? if milk is running down nose it can be an indicator... just an idea

other than that i dont have any ideas

i wish these pups were doing this :) shows mum has lots of milk and pups are just be greedy ....so long as their growing well and putin lots of weight on they will be fine ,a litter i had with our ess ,pups where the same ,mum had loads of milk :) 

Have they been checked by the vets for cleft palates? As like previosuly said milk outvyhr nose can be a sign of this?! Or like whitelilly said they could just be greedy little pups! I wold get them checked just to make sure

They have been checked and always feel like they have full tums! When i check mums milk myself she has alot come out.

as long as they dont have CP, they are growing, not choking, and appear well.....then wouldnt worry
