Does anyone know what opticians in the high streets, if any, accept unwanted glasses for charity in other countries?Thankyou

You can pop them in a box at our local branch of Boots!

We take ours into Rawlings but all opticions Leightons ect recycle them! Well done you I used to take my sons whan he was small to Rawlings.

Thats a brilliant idea! never ever thought of doing that! :) I can be a bit of a one for keeping everything! and I have about 6 pairs of childs glasses in the cupboard that my kids have had over the years!! :)

Thanks for that........hubby has to have new ones each year so have half a dozen laying around in the drawers.

The vicar in our village collects them, then they are sent off to third world countries.
