Topic Dog Boards / Breeding / How long should I let her go

Hello, my bitch was mated on 11th, 13th, 15th and 17th Oct. Could some one advice on what is the latest date I should leave her before calling the vet. She is doing ok, her temp is normal.

what day is she on from the first mating?

With that number of matings she could be due anytime over the course of a week to ten days so you may have to be patient, as long as she is happy in herself and there is puppy movement then just keep a close eye on her for any signs of labour starting.

I make it day 67 from first mating, pups still moving a lot and she is very happy in her self, she still tries to jump up at me (am stopping her), she still thinks she can do things she could do pre preggers

She may have taken to the last mating so could be  only 61 days, If you can see puppy movement still and she looks fine I would give her another day but let the vet know and don't leave her alone for a moment now.
Good luck.

i wouldnt be worried yet at all if she is fine in every way, but as already said, dont leave her as they could arrive at any time now.
Good luck :)
