I my bitch had pups almost 3weeks ago now which Aree all doing brilliantly even the runt that has been through the serious wars! I'm just wondering weather it's ok for the mum to have seriously smelly frequent wind. I mean extrmly smelly and which normally only happens worse at night. Just wondering weather it is cleaning up the pups which iss doing it. Other then that she is eating like a lil pig drinking and exercising well. I know it proply is just the cleaning up of pups and the vast amount if food she's eating but I have been told it could be down to more serious problems !
Ps she was wormed a week ago
if her poo is normal id put it down to eating alot i remember my girl having wind and the smell was out of this world lol she was fine it stopped when she wasnt over feeding and cleaning up after pups :)

Her poo seems a little soft almost soft like a whippy ice cream. I know that sounds strange but didn't know what else to compare it too lol she is eating 2tins of puppy food and adlimb dry puppy food she is a smallish breed would u say this wind may be down to over feeding?!
yes i think so ,the girl i have here ,her poo is like a whippy lol she is eating alot and shes having it soaked .

Ok I will cut down the food a little but just worried about cutting it would make her produce less milk or eclampsia. Obviously I won't cut food intake by alot bug though it would be best to feed her as much as she wanted as before whelp she wasn't a scoffer and would only eat small meals and not gulp them down so thought she must be hungry so I kind of feed her till she doesn't seem to want Ny more considering that she has never over fed and eaten for te sale of eating befor whelp lol I'll see what she's like with slighlg less food- although she will not touch soaked dry food lol
i wouldnt cut food down she needs as much as she will eat its just something we have to put up with ( smelly trumps) lol she will slow her eating down when shes not feeding them as much ,well most do lol

That's good I didn't really want to cut the food down i'd rather put up with the stinks then worry about her nutrition! She just insists on sleeping under the bed by the pillows at night when she's not in with the pups. Is it normal for her just to be with the pups about 20minutes svery 2or so hours? They don't cry for food or anything but she seems mode interested in what's going in on the rest of te house and going and playing with footballs! Lol but is extremly protective when anyone she doesn't know comes in the house
yes everything you say is normal!! my girl was a sod at 3weeks lol she didnt want to feed pups at all ,id started weaning mine at 2weeks 5days but they still wanted milk i had to make her get in with them every 3h ,now your pups are 3weeks old dont worry if mum dont start feeding them every 3h thats normal too :)

Activated Charcoal will absorb the gas thereby stop the smell at the other end, I tend to give my guys a capsual's worth with each meal if they're being offensive. Its very safe and use it myself when I've eaten something my body reacts too in a bid to pre empt an IBS attack works wonders.

once you start weaning she stops cleaning pups- then its up to you! but the smell should stop then

This is normal. My girl currently has a litter of 4 week old pups and she is the same.
