Took one of my girls to the vets  as she had browny sticky smelly coming out of her vulva. She has pyo going in tomorrow morning to be spade.
Vet said if we left it any longer she would not have made it to monday. She has just turned 10years hopefully she will make it.  My oh and i are so worried about our Cara i do not know what he will do if she does not make it.

Good luck for tomorrow

8 year old with open pyo here too.
Whipped her in and had it all out and now she's fit as a fiddle.

Sending my love to her, sure she will be fine - plenty of cuddles and pampering to come for her I think! Hope all goes well.

try not to worry, my old girlie was spayed at 10, recovered well, she's now 13.  Before she was operated on I chose to have the pre-op blood workup done on her just to make sure everything else was ok.

It is only natural that you will worry.  You love her!

I'm sure that you will be so relieved tomorrow night.  Good luck, and try not to pass your tension on to your girl.

Sending positive vibes.

Was looking after a friends bitch when she had a pyo. Temperature in early 40's, very ill dog indeed. She was a mess when the vets opened her up but she came back fine and dandy and is fit and well now :)

It's lovely that you can now breathe a sigh of relief after all the worry.  It drains you doesn't it?

Trying to keep them calm and quiet is easier said than done - you can only do your best!  :-)
