What is the approximate cost of getting a pedigree Labrador. Are there any checks that have to be done on prospective purchasers and if so, what are they?

Anything from about £200 for some , maybe with no papers , or someone that has a household of hungry labrador pups, or from someone who has not done hips and eye checks, up to £500, up to a £1000 for a part trained young gundog.The checks on purchasers you mentioned..do you mean yourself?
I check names addresses,phone nos. Garden-fenced. Dog knowledge or had that breed before. I usually home visit, and have references from their vets. Some breeders may not do as much. stevie.
