anybody know where the best place for huge pieces of vet bed. possibly even on a roll. seems so much more expensive online than at the shows!

Check out www.bronteglen.co.uk they do the non slip rubber back bedding its absolutly fantastic you can get different sizes I normally get a double size and cut it in half to get two squares (cant remember the actual size at the mo) but its about £22 way cheaper than the green backed vet bedding which personally I am not keen on, the rubber backed bedding can be washed the same. This site is the cheapest I have found and they deliver next day.

We dont  get rubber backed vet bedding for new born pups as it holds the wee between the bedding and the pups,
our pups had the most awful sore bellies and we couldnt work out why (bedding was changed regular)
after speaking to someone who sells vet bed they told us not to use the rubber back till they are up on their feet,
since then weve not had any problems.

we use bronteglen and buy their "gold" range....its the best quality weve ever had and believe me my lot can massacre a 10 foot vetbed into postage stamp squares in 20 mins!

I've always used the rubber backed vet bedding and never had a problem with it.  My Snowsilk whelping box has a slippery floor so need the rubber backed bedding.  Pups have never had a sore belly either and it always feels dry, even when I had a litter of 9 last summer.

Jedona:  I've purchased from this company and it's really good quality, I had the purple with black paw prints, really thick, excellent quality, would definitely buy from them again.

I've never had any problems with the rubber back bedding with newborns either? I have always changed it every morning and all of our babies have been fine on it.

Same is the vet pet and vet bed gold from Bronteglen not the real orginal vet bed?

I opened an account with Vetbed direct and buy it now from them quite reasonably.

We use Profleece (have done for donkeys years), we stocked up at Driffield Ch show.  It washes beautifully and is lovely and thick, super colours too, especially the pink and the purple.
