I have just started taking my pup to show classes, how on earth can I get the pup to stand when its supposed to and not sit???????

Time, the penny will drop, in the mean time when you stand him try to tickle his tummy as he stands. Ja:)kie

A lot of time and patience will probably work, but, in saying that I still cant get mine to stand on the table without, licking the judge and his tail wagging all the time he is now 10 months old. I supposed I should just keep trying hoping it will eventually click with him, hope its soon, he is going to Crufts LOL

A good many puppies lick judges faces, a good many judges don't mind, I don't, but wish I knew why it's always your glasses. :)

the only judges that don't mind Newfs licking their face is a breed judge , i have seen lot of alrounders really hate it!!

Well lets face it Sam, if a Newfi licks your glasses you haven't a hope in hell of assesing anything else. ;)
