got a call today an old freind of mine has had a litter of pups.
bitch had 4 pups.one is slightly feeding.first born at 630 am and still not feeding from mum.i have no idea what to do as ive never had a pup not want to feed
can anyone help please.should she be bottle feed them?and if so how much how often>??

First off has she checked for cleft palates? Secondly she needs to get each pup and help it. Squeeze some milk out from a teat, if needs be get somebody to hold the bitch still, and gently open the pups mouths and help them latch on. I had to do this with my current pup when he was born, now he's never off the teats.
