anyone from Kent going to Nordic show at Coventry on Sat??

I'm going from the opposite end of the South, Bristol, love this show.

It is the one show held in the UK that has all the Spitz breeds together, and classe for all of them.

In other countries (well FCI) these breeds are all grouped together, but in the UK they are split between five of the 7 groups (only the gundog and Terier group have no Spitz).

So it is a prick eared curly tailed breed fest, with Sled dog breeds, herding, hunting and toy versions.

Well show opens at 9.30, judging at 10.30 on Saturday at the Sports connexion, Ryton on Dunsmore, near Coventry.

No Canadian Eskimo Dog classes though :( Hopefully next year though.

I wish - sigh!  :-)  Mind you, there'll be quite a few dogs of the vikings there.  That'll do.

We have our champ show in the opposite hall on sat. gives me a chance to sneak over and look at the sammies.

anyone know who took BIS and BPIS?

BIS and Reserve Best In show were the Basenji and Samoyed, as I saw the Basenji leading the lapof honour, so it must have got it.

We had to leave before BPIS, as hubby was getting very antsy by then.

We had terrible traffic both coming and going, not just weather but roadwiorks.
