I am American and therefore will celebrate Thanksgiving. I have invited all my friends and family to come everyone is bringing a dish or drink...I'm making the Turkey, Stuffing, Spuds, Sweet potatoes, Gravy and pies.
Plus a big bowl of chocolate....:-)

So excited..it's been a while since I had enough friends to celebrate with and they never had Thanksgiving Dinner so they are all excited too.

Whoo.Hoo

Hmmm, how did the big bowl of chocolate become a Thanksgiving tradition?  LOL

I miss the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.  I think I only went to it once or twice as a child, but watching it on TV was good enough.

Big bowl of chocolate is an added extra while they sit and chat around the fire (While I meltdown and recover enough to serve dinner) :-)
As fun as it is....all the organizing, cooking and cleaning amounts to enough stress only chocolate can cure (so the big bowl is really for me...)

Plus Sainsbury's near me has Roses, Quality Streets and Celebrations tins for £4...Couldn't pass that up.

Happy Thanksgiving..

I've had the pleasure of sharing this one year with an American family over in Mass, wonderful celebration and just wish it was something we had over here.. A cause for a celebration why not.. Still think we should have 4th July too..

Oh yes, without a doubt! I've had a few Thanksgiving dinners with my American friends, but the pumpkin pie is what I always look forward to the most. We all love it so much and hubby has begged me many times to make it at home, but I won't, I told him it is part of Thanksgiving and only to be celebrated then. :-D :-D Besides I doubt I could make it taste as good. :-)

Thank you America for Pumpkin Pie!

And a very happy Thanksgiving.
