Is it me or is he very, very nasal with his singing.  He's on right now and I'm sorry it's not great!  That hight part was soooo out of tune.

Twins, well, how can they still be on there?
- By perrodeagua [gb] Date 21.11.09 20:56 UTC
Gosh even Olly's out of tune tonight!!
- By ChristineW Date 21.11.09 21:03 UTC
I've never heard Olly in tune.
- By Sullysmum Date 21.11.09 21:03 UTC
We thought they all seemed out of tune tonight, could it be 'the songs'?
- By Oldilocks [gb] Date 21.11.09 21:17 UTC
Joe wasn't!!!!  :)
- By ottoman Date 21.11.09 21:24 UTC
maybe it just goes to show what a fantastic singer George Michael is! I can't understand why on earth Joe got a standing ovation, he wasn't that good!! I thought they were all a bit pants tonight!!! This year's x factor just isn't doing for me!!!
- By crinklecut [gb] Date 21.11.09 21:30 UTC
Think Joe was the best tonight but he does remind me a lot of Neil Sedaka

I have thought that all along, I was afraid to say it on here just in case you were all too young to remember Neil Sedaka!  :)

He was!!  :)

I thought Danyl sounded like he had a speech impediment when he sang tonight.  He was awful!  Well, none of them were great except the lad at the end (Joe, is it?).
- By Blue Date 22.11.09 01:51 UTC
I love Joe and neil Sedaka.   NS wrote some wonderful songs.. :-)
- By Blue Date 22.11.09 01:53 UTC
Danyl was pants tonight but I don't get him anyway.  I am a Joe supporter. Only one I think can really really sing. :-)
- By suejaw Date 22.11.09 07:07 UTC
I'll ditto the consensus on the show, really don't think any of them were really that good.. I turned over in the end and watched Casualty. But kept flicking back..Anyone could go tonight.

I don't watch the series, but I just brought up some of his performances (Joe's) like him
- By krusewalker [gb] Date 22.11.09 11:57 UTC
its not the songs

its not that they were out of tune last night

its just because most of them aren't very good singers

Yes, I've said that from the beginning! Glad it's not just me!
- By qwerty Date 22.11.09 18:45 UTC
I thought danyl was amazing last night, i think im in the minority though and he may be in the bottom 2..but if he is against lloyd or the twins, i think the judges should get some backbone and save him.

It also made me laugh when cheryl said 'i thought you were a bit flat' pot, kettle :)

> Saturday night!! Pub?

Bit of a bore me, not a huge fan of going out drinking like that, especially on a weekend coupled with wind and rain!!
Give me a lovely country pub with gorgeous food and then i'm tempted from the sofa.
I love the quiet life me..

i love danyl too- best voice by far but still no spirit left since they crushed him of all his enthusiasm
- By Sullysmum Date 22.11.09 19:17 UTC
Loved Neil Sedaka since i was young teenager, still do and still have all my old Lp's from then and cd since. Was Joe the welsh boy, ive got muddled now?

Can you believe that Nursey?  Almost word for word !!!  :)  :)
- By qwerty Date 22.11.09 20:19 UTC
yes but was that for her voice? me thinks not..its because the public love her for her..if she wasnt a judge on xfactor she would not have had that success.
- By perrodeagua [gb] Date 23.11.09 16:02 UTC
I don't get the publics feeling on her either!  She can't really sing and I really don't think she's the best of looking women, but supposedly all women want to look like her?  Well I must be the one strange one cause I don't LOL!  She isn't ugly, but she's not all that.
- By sandrah Date 23.11.09 16:22 UTC
I don't see the appeal either. Her voice or her looks.  I have seen both Cheryl and Dannii in the flesh so to speak and Dannii is far more attractive and so tiny. More class too.
- By Dogz Date 23.11.09 16:39 UTC
Cheryl is a very pretty girl, not classic, but very pretty, I would have liked to be pretty, but it doesn't last, Danni is more classic and will probably age better.

Karen :)

Just noticed this update:

Dannii cleared of 'homophobic' jibe

The regulator found: "In Ofcom's view, it was not outside the established nature of the programme for an X Factor judge to make such a comment as Dannii Minogue's especially in circumstances where the performer had placed information about his sexuality in the public domain ...

"Ofcom did not discern a pejorative or homophobic intent behind her comment."
