Can anyone tell me if they have any experience of giving their bitch RILEXINE 600 while being in whelp the bitch had Cystis and as now developed a Bacterial infection so the vet has put her on Rilexine it's not 100% that she is in whelp has she was mated nearly 3 weeks ago but the owners are concerned about the possible pregnancy has they have plan this litter for awhile.

They say they have Googled but can't find anything.

This is the datasheet for Rilexine (you can click through to further pages); it doesn't mention pregnancy on any of the pages, as far as I can see.

My bitch had to go on antibiotics at about the same stage.  My vet said although a lot of the possible treatments he could
have prescribed didnt say they couldnt be given to bitches in whelp, that a lot of time that only meant they hadnt done trials
to say they were safe.  My girl was given synulox which states it is safe to give supposedly?

The results from her swab have come back and she has E-coli does anyone have any advice or experience of this condition?

Any advice good or bad would be most grateful.

Many thanks
