can anyone tell me if the blue/ghost/grey version of the rhodesian ridgeback can have any long term health problems?

Silver/blue/ghost - that's an unusual colour for a ridgeback isn't it??? i thought it was a fault..?

Awww i bet he/she's beautiful, if a bit little! Are the pups KC registered?
As far as i'm aware a grey/blue pup wouldn't have any particular predisposition to illness, no more so than the rest of the litter. Unless the reason it's small is because it's been sickly??
If the breeder is a good one and the pups from good lines then your pup will more than likely be fine, just a bit smaller than the others :)
i'm not suggesting the breeder you're getting your pup from would do this, but do beware if they try to sell you this pup as a "rarity". It is a serious fault in the breed standard - any pups that colour turning up in normal litters used to be euthanised, i don't know if that's still common practice...
Ridgies are fantastic dogs - congratulations on your new addition!!
