Just thought i would officially introduce myself as it's rather rude I haven't! :) My name is Sarah and I have 4 Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers and a Lakeland Terrier. Some people might remember me as an old member of the forum under the username of 'Wheaten mad'. So that's me - Hello!
And just a little brag because I'm sooo pleased with my little Wheaten puppy. At her first open show she won BP and BOB and was shortlisted in the adult group and went on to win BPIS! She the got BP, RBOB and Terrier Puppy Group 1 and her second show. And she had another BPIS and her third show on Saturday! I just wanted to say how kind some people are in congratulating you and making the effort to find you at shows to ask how you got on. Especially people in other breeds, it's lovely to make friends with people you sometimes don't get the chance to. It's also nice to have the same dog lying at your feet and covered in mud, after rolling round the garden for the last half an hour!! lol
Sarah, Dolly well deserved her success on Saturday, she looked like she was having a ball - just as it shopuld be!!
Hope you continue to have great fun together. George (who is trying to help type this message!!!) wants to know if she can pass on any tips for his debut!!
Forgot to say that several people at the Champ Sow on Sunday commented on your lovely jacket, it must be the lucky one.

Thank you all!
And thank you Karen! xx
George - Dolly said the most important thing as a Wheaten is to show everybody that you have 'character'. This can be done in a number of different ways, e.g eating the tape around the rings, flattening the judge with kisses, rolling on the floor with the other dogs when you're meant to be standing still, weeing in the ring, and my personal favourite - stealing the rosette off the judge when they try and give it to your owner. Well you did win it after all, and they NEVER let you rip it up! If you do ALL of these in the ring, you have a good chance of winning! My mum said she looks forward to seeing George in the ring!
