Hi, can anyone help me, i have a bitch that i think is pregnant and will be having her scanned next week, but i have heard alot of people talking about saliva test, for ovulation and pregnancy, does anyone have any experience with these test? do they really work or is a scan the best way to go?

I've only used the saliva test on my girls for ovulation and so far it has been 100%.  There's a little device called a MateTel , you get a sample of your girls saliva on the lens wait for it to dry, fertile period= strong ferning ( or icicle) patterns cover the microscope
ovulation is about to occur . mate within 24 hours repeat mating 48hrs after 1st mating

Apparently it can also be used to tell if a bitch is pregnant, but I've not used it for that so can't say if it works or not.

i dont use any other than scan and my gut feeling lol , ive not been wrong yet ;) xx

yes u lucky lady :) do you scan just the once ? or do you do it every week till they have them ? ...cus i know i would lol
