I show labradors, but feel one of them, her movement in the ring is too fast.

I was at Gundog Breeds of Scotland show yesterday and felt that she was  going too fast and literally seemed to be flying round the ring which could be hampering her doing well, in the eye of the judge. I dont want to walk with her because I feel that I would be too slow compared to anyone else. I work her out at home before the shows and she seems fine.

It seems to me as if she is trying to make a statement at the shows "Look at me I am here"

I take it theres no medium ground where you can run slowly next to her, try running at a walking pace so it doesnt look obvious to outsiders you are exaggerating anything. The judge needs to be able to see the footfalls of movement so if you were going too quick a judge should have told you to move the dog again but a bit slower.

I know a lot of people use this tactic of moving but in an up and down or coming and going in a triangle go slower and then use your dogs natural speedy gait for the profile movement such as when the whole class goes round the ring. Using the faster pace there may show your dogs extension and catch the judges eye.
